It has been an INCREDIBLE year! I had a wonderful time traveling through Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and North America! As you can probably guess, I’ve had an amazing opportunity to collect inspiring material that is slowly being woven together as I construct my second album. I have seen love portrayed in so many different ways, from the passionate lovers of Spain and France, to the conservative approach of couples in the Middle East and everything in between. I have seen love that truly inspires me and a lack of love that breaks my heart. To see children on the streets of Madagascar, begging not only for food, but for someone to simply acknowledge them has inspired the chorus of a song that is still revealing itself to me. After all, I can’t really say that I write these songs, it is the world that writes my music. I simply put it down on paper, into a microphone, and back out into the world. You can probably gather the essence of the second album, which will be entitled “Universal Lovers”. As I told you all when I first began this journey, I am inspired by love and human interaction. I never knew that I would be exploring the world a few months later to see cultures outside of my own that have left me fascinated. Thank you for your interest in my career. It means means so much to me. I can sing until I’m blue in the face, but what’s the point if no one is there to hear it? Thank you for being there.

I began my journey in Denmark and have since made my way to Sweden, Finland, Germany, Estonia, and Russia. I am currently cruising through the Kiel Canal in Germany. I am looking forward to exploring France, The Netherlands, The UK, Ireland, Canada and New York in the next three weeks. Well, now that you know where I’ve been and where I’m going, I can talk about the good stuff… the experience! One of the highlights of my adventures was going on a private tour of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia. We explored the almost endless rooms of Matisse and Rembrant paintings, and ended the night with champagne and a performance by The State Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg. I also had the joy of going on a “Soviet Flashback” adventure while in Estonia. Needless to say, there was a lot of vodka and propaganda involved! As for the musical side of this journey,  I have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some wonderful singers. I am currently performing Motown, Opera, Pop, Rock and my original songs with the Silver Whisper. I have actually written some new songs from the road and I am excited to teach them to my band back at home. We will have a show at Piano Bar in Hollywood on October 8th, please come join us for that and hear some of my new songs! Check out the photos from my adventures out in Europe. I recently returned to California from an amazing trip performing around the world. Upon my arrival to Los Angeles, my best friend James took me to Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. This magnificent estate turned public park was built in 1928 by California oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny for his son, Ned L. Doheny Jr. It’s terrace is one of Hollywood’s most famous sets. The estate has been the set to many films including the famous Bowling Alley scene in There Will Be Blood. James and I strolled through the elegant courtyard of the estate (the interior is not open to the public). The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the fountain was flowing and I felt compelled to SING! I got through the first verse of “The Flower Duet” before I noticed that James and I were not alone. Four smiling faces peered through the glass doors of the estate. Three lovely ladies and a Beverly Hills Park Ranger emerged from Greystone Mansion and asked me if I would be interested in singing at their event inside the estate next week. What a way to book a gig! I came back three days later and sang Opera in the Gallery and Jazz in the Music Hall. These rooms were built to house some of the biggest bands and musical artists of the 1920′s. Let me tell you, the acoustics there were better than any other venue I’ve ever sung in!

I had a wonderful time performing at Gresystone Mansion, and to think that it all began with a sunny summer stroll makes this path I’m on even more enticing. You never know when someone is listening, so why not SING? :)
